Vegans and vegetarians are people too!

I really enjoyed this informative book. Way back in the sixth century B.C. people were enjoying meals without meat. This book gives so many choices for people thinking about going meatless in their diet and so many are explained and give samples of an easy to follow way to do this. The author has done a great job including the benefits of getting various proteins, calcium, vitamins including the important iron from food besides meat. The pros and cons are discussed of eating meatless and I was definitely amazed by the different types of vegan and vegetarian diets, allowing people to choose the one that is right for them. I was pleased and amazed by how much I enjoyed this informative book and have an eye on a few others this author has written. The pain one looks great!

Melinda explains the different types of diets that can be followed (I didn't realize there were so may types of vegetarian diets)
I do cook meatless meals and enjoy them but will not adopt a complete vegetarian diet, but I found the book interesting
