STOP! Read This Before You Buy.

I was looking for an easy to follow guide to start my wife and I on a Paleo (Paleolithic) diet, but sadly this is not it. The start of the book (1st Chapter) gives you some insight into the Paleo Diet, but frankly you can look it up on Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleolithic diet ) and get a much better understanding for free. The second chapter basically lays out the foods you should eat and should not eat. This chapter has pages of one line entries that do no explain why one food is good or the other is bad. In fact it looks like the author made numerous line entries just to fill the book. An example of this is on pages 17 through 18, under meats the author first lists "Poultry" which covers a number of birds, including chicken but then they make an entry for each piece of chicken (chicken wing, chicken breast, chicken leg, chicken thigh). In this same section they list Shrimp, Lobster and Salmon, but then in the section they label fish they list salmon again. Okay technically Shrimp and Salmon are not "fish," but a better approach would have been to have a "Sea" Food list and put them all there. And call me a stickler but why didn't they bother to put these lists into alphabetical order and make it easier on the reader?

Then there is the finally chapter (3), where they list the "Mouth Watering Recipes." This chapter first lays out two seven (7) day meal plans, that are absolutely not usable for people who still work outside the home. As an example the author expects the dieter to make a complete meal with hours of cooking time for lunch. Furthermore, the recipes in the book would be a nightmare for people who are not good in the kitchen. In the recipes the author tells you how to cook Spaghetti Squash, but says nothing about how to remove the spaghetti like strands from the husk. Someone not familiar with spaghetti squash would be lead to believe that you pour the sauce directly into the squash. There are many other mistakes in this section also, to name a few;
The recipes often call for "pieces" of eggs but does not say which pieces, being a cook I wonder if they mean the egg shell, the egg white or the yolk.
There is also references to "pieces" of onions, zucchinis, rosemary and thyme (Really don't know what parts they mean here).
I found references to 1 can of "Fresh" tomatoes? To me a tomato is not fresh if it is in a can and if it is in a can what type (diced, stewed, peeled, whole, etc.).
There are also references to cooking (frying, sautéing) in "Tallow" and "Ghee" with no references to what they are or where to get them.

Well you get the idea, in summation; After reading through this 96 page book I found it is simply not worth the money, leaving you with many more questions than answers.

This book is a perfect resource for anyone who is planning on going on dieting. The first diet name that sprang in any one mind is Paleo diet. This book is a great book for any beginner as it comes with a complete 7 day meal plan. All you need to do is to follow the diet plan and have a good body!

There are many diet plans available today, but I think that Paleo diet is the healthiest, practical, and the easiest to follow among those different diets we know. If we choose a diet that resembles that of our ancestors, we could never go wrong. Why? Because, it’s amazing result is already been proven! Take a look at our ancestors who lived thousands of years ago, we all learn from our history subjects that they have a strong, lean physique and that they have longer lifespan compared to modern people. We can achieve those qualities too if we start getting ourselves in a diet that is almost the same as theirs. Through this book, we can learn how to start the Paleo diet the right way. It teaches us what Paleo diet really is and what benefits we can get from it. It also provides the different foods that we must and mustn’t eat. One more great thing about this book is that it includes 7 day meal plans we can start with and the recipes for the meals included in the plans to guarantee that we are on the right track to becoming healthier.
